How to get to Verbier from Geneva

Getting to Vert Pre,
once you arrive in Verbier

As you enter Verbier you will see the Migros building on your right. Continue along the one way system until your reach the main square, or Place Central. Continue straight over the roundabout and take the left hand fork towards Savoleyres. (The right hand fork will take you towards Medran). Continue up the hill, passed the church on your left, until you reach the roundabout at Savoleyres ski lift. Take the first exit and follow the road to the right, up the hill with the evasion ski shop on your left. A little further along there is a split in the road and you should take the right hand fork towards Hameau (the left hand fork takes you to Carrefour). Continue along this road passed the Carmargue bus stop. A little further there is a small steep road to your right and immediately after the road there is an apartment block with a car park in front on your right. This is Vert Pre. Geneva to Verbier by Car

Take the A9/E62 highway towards Lausanne following signs to Grand St Bernard and continue to Martigny, Exit the motorway just after Martigny signposted Verbier.
Continue past Martigny towards Grand-Saint-Bernard and Verbier. Turn left at Sembrancher towards Chable and Verbier. The trip should take about 1.45 - 2 hours.

Geneva to Verbier by Train

Trains leave from Geneva airport and arrive in Martigny. Regular trains towards Sion/Brig run direct there are also some services that require a change at Lausanne. Train takes about 1hr 45 and cost about CHF 40 one way. Last train is about 23:00 so if your flight comes in late you may need to hire a car. Details of trains times on CFF
From Martigny then take the St Bernard express to Chable which takes under half an hour. You can then take a bus or the telecabine from Chable to Verbier. Taxis are available from Martigny train station to Verbier or booked in advance with one of the Verbier Taxi companies eg: May Taxi +41 (0)27 771 77 71 or ABC +41 (0)79 321 14 14
